Here are a few things hanging out on my bucket list:
1. Dueling Pianos | I really want to see a dueling pianos show. I don't care how professional it is, either. Just two pianos, playing it out.
2. Ghost Ride | A road trip where I visit haunted & abandoned places throughout the US. I really want to see some abandoned theme parks. Which kind of goes with...
3. See A Ghost | I'm kind of obsessed with the paranormal & really want to see a ghost. Well, maybe. I'm kind of scared to see a full body apparition, but I want to definitely experience something unexplained.
4. Fix Up A House | I loved old houses. They're my jam. I want to buy & renovate an old house. It really doesn't even have to be old, just in need of some serious repair. My husband actually did this for many years working for a contractor, & it's awesome to see the transformations.
5. Dye My Hair Black | I was actually born with black hair & I really want to dye it black. I'm just so scared to do it! I'm the mayor of Pale City, so I'm afraid I'll look scary, but I still want to do it! I would have to do it professionally to avoid looking like a cheetah & how would I even get it back to my normal shade?
What are some things on your bucket list?

Shaving #InASnap with Gillette Venus Snap
Summer is finally here which means my shaved legs are on full display because I live in shorts when the weather gets hot.
The problem I always run into is everything looks shaved in the house & then the moment I step outside, I find a ton of spots that I missed. Enter, Gillette® Venus® Snap with Embrace:
This razor is so easy to take along for those spontaneous shaving sessions, whether it's just a few hairs or I need a full on shave fast. It even comes with its own case. To use, just add some water and shave. That's it. When I'm done, I just dry it off & put it back in its case, ready for the next time I need it. I loved how it was sharp enough to get the job done, yet gentle enough not to cut my legs to shreds.
& it looks cool in the pool! :)
I received these products complimentary from Influenster for testing purposes. All opinions are my own.

Friday Five | Things That Make Me Irrational
Happy Friday!
I'm usually a fairly calm person. It normally takes a lot to shake me up. There are a few things that make me crazy and irrational, though, & here they are:
1. The Self Checkout: I try to skip over as much interaction with that thing as possible. I skip the language & start scanning my things. Then, when I'm done, I just start shoving my money in to skip over all that payment talk too. There are only so many shortcuts I can do, though, & before I know it, that thing is screaming at me. I know that I need to take my items & my money, just give me a minute, ok?
2. Heated Seats: Probably more of a #firstworldproblem than anything else, but heated seats in a car make me irrational. I know that the settings on the seat are a timer & not the heat level, but that doesn't stop me from cranking that stuff all the way up all the time. I have to say that having the heated seats on all the time is an incredibly terrible idea. I once burned myself on a long road trip because I couldn't let the heat seat go.
3. Hair Dye: This isn't really a problem for me anymore since I haven't dyed my hair in about 2 years, but when I used to dye my hair, it made me irrational. I know that hair grows from the roots, but that didn't stop me from picking the darkest hair color possible so I wouldn't have any roots. The funny thing was, when I used to dye my hair, by the end of the month, my hair would just turn back to a shade that was sort of close to my natural color anyway, so I didn't really need to pick a darker shade.
4. Vending Machines: I’m the crazy lady hitting my soda selection like 456,054,096,590 times before the pop actually dispenses. Yes, I realize that it only takes one time, but I'm still over there pressing & pressing that button.
5. Elevators: Pretty much the same thing as vending machines. I realize it takes one time, but I'm over there pressing the 'down' button. I also find myself giving it a courtesy press for every new person that comes up.

Cherry Julius Recipe
Confession: I'm a cherry fanatic. Cherries have been my favorite fruit for as long as I can remember. I love cherry flavored everything. I eat maraschino cherries straight from the jar. I never turn down a cherry flavored Tootsie Roll Pop. If it's cherry, I'm all about it.
I recently came across this recipe for a homemade Strawberry Julius & I wanted to make a cherry one. I was trying to figure out a good alternative to the strawberry margarita concentrate when I saw these in my freezer:
I knew these things would be perfect for my little concoction! I ended up using three cherry juice bars for my Julius & it was so good! A cherry Popsicle would probably work too.
While I was writing this out, I see that when I made mine, I forgot to add the water that the original recipe calls for! I noticed my Julius was really thick & I added more milk & vanilla to thin it down. The water would have probably fixed that!
Cherry Julius
[Recipe inspired by Somewhat Simple's Strawberry Julius]
Ingredients:
- 1 cup frozen cherries
- 3 frozen cherry juice bars (I used Minute Maid Juice Bars)
- 1 cup ice
- 1 cup milk
- 2 Tablespoons sugar
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
Directions:
- Puree frozen cherries in blender
- Add all other ingredients & blend
PS: This is not a sponsored post. I just like cherry flavored stuff that I buy with my own money :)
