Apple Season

It's apple season yet again! I'm thinking of making apple butter this year. Last year, we made grape jelly from our grapes, but the vines didn't produce any grapes this year. I was so disappointed. The jelly we made last year was fantastic. If I decide to make apple butter, hopefully it turns out! I'll keep you posted!

Apple Tree

 

I’ve lived at the same place for seven years & just noticed this apple tree the other day!

This land has been in my family for years & someone once told my parents that the land used to be an orchard, but this looks like one of the only trees left!  I do have another apple tree out front, but those apples taste nasty!  I hope these apples taste good! 

   

I’ve been really into using homegrown fruit lately.  Maybe next year I’ll plant a garden.  I just hate all the prep work for a garden, but love having homegrown stuff!
